The eclipse was exact in Libra at 12:12am Pacific Time today.
Jon and I taught a Reiki Master Teacher class this weekend. It’ll be the last class we teach in this house we have lived in for fifteen years, and while we certainly did not consciously plan it this way, it does seem like some perfect plan is underway.
We’re both still swimming in the love vibes from the class which is helping with the processing of emotions related to this eclipse. As The Pleiadians mentioned in our last event, stories from the past and the emotions attached to them have been running through my mind/heart/body. Thinking about moving back to where I originated from is certainly playing a part in this as well.
The wooden shelves that had been sitting in front of our house for a couple of weeks finally left in our neighbor’s hands after I suggested to Jon that he take them apart and throw them out.
Apparently, they did not want to be destroyed as she sauntered up not five minutes after he and I had this chat. They’ll be housing her outdoor potted plants, appropriate for shelves Jon built to hold soil, amendments, organic fertilizer, and other gardening accouterments.
One of the pieces on her shelves is a beautiful planter left to her by her then-next-door neighbor when she left the block a couple of years ago, someone I was good friends with as well. Her leaving was a signpost to me that we might not be on this block for much longer. When our next-door neighbor/friend left last year and the three oak trees fell that were running along the grid line between our house, hers, and the two houses directly across the street from us (including the house where our other friend had lived), I was almost certain our leaving would be imminent.
Even with all of the knowing, it still came as a shock to hear the words from our landlord’s mouth in the form of an eviction. As much as I know that leaving this house is absolutely in alignment, it’s still not fun to be told to go.
I was inspired last night (technically very early this morning) when the eclipse was exact to pull a couple of cards from The Faeries’ Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth. My intention when selecting was that these were for everyone (including me).
First Card: The Lady of The Harvest
“It is time to accept change, to move on to the next phase. Power and strength in the present and future come from releasing the past. This is a time of liberation, and we might as well cooperate with it. It will happen, whether we want it to or not. Release and liberation may be painful or joyful, depending on the circumstances. Cry if you need to, be joyful if that is appropriate, but in either case trust the process, acknowledge what you feel, and prepare to move on.”
Followed by: The Faery Godmother (one of my favorite faerie beings depicted in this deck)
“Sairie offers last minute rescues. When she turns up in our readings, good things may well be happening that we don’t think we deserve - or that we do deserve but haven’t thought to ask for. Almost imperceptibly she teaches us about giving and receiving unconditionally, helping us to open our hearts to love and acceptance. She sometimes showers us with abundance. Keep an eye out for unexpected good fortune, especially when you thought you saw bad luck headed your way.
Remember to say thank you by passing on a kindness to someone else. Practice a little faery godmothering yourself and see how enjoyable it is. Part of the fun of it is to do it so the recipient doesn’t know where the gift came from.”
Personally, this reading is so spot on. I am always amazed at the power and magic held within this divination tool. I highly recommend it not just for this purpose but also as a way to connect directly with The Faeries.
I booked our outgoing move this morning (moving pods and a local moving company to load them and remove anything we have been unable to sell or donate). The plan is that it’s all going into storage as we explore New Mexico on the way to Chicago and then live in Chicago for a few weeks and see how we feel there. If we’re enjoying it and in the flow, we’ll shift our temporary situation into something more permanent.
And yet, with Mercury going retrograde on April 1st, the total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, and the Uranus-Jupiter Conjunction on April 20th, we are remaining flexible and open to all magic and unexpected shifts.
I have restarted my yoga practice as a way to support all of this.

I love this article, thanks for sharing all that is going on. I absolutely love the cards that you drew. They do feel really relevant to me as well. I needed to hear some of the things that they had to say. I’m feeling more calm today when I have been struggling with anxiety. I just got back from getting my Covid booster so I am drinking lots of water and setting the intention to not have any or very few side effects. I am pondering my future and my path in life. I am considering if I am holding onto things out of fear of change or the unknown. Lots of inner work going on right now.
It sounds like you have all of your plans made and everything is going smoothly. That’s awesome! Sending love!💗
“Be open to all magic” wonderful! Oh, you're exploring NM too, lovely. It's a beautiful state, the parts I’ve been to. I hope you’ll let us know what you feel and think of NM.
So much change happening. I'm pretty stationary at the moment due to a recent injury. I'm watching things unfold, it's kinda cool.
I can’t afford to allow myself to be upset or stressed or it goes into my body as pain. However, It seems a 34 yr long friendship is ending rather unexpectedly. Their things will be picked up from my house, which I was asked to get together and put outside LOLOL. Did you hear me say i have compression fracture In my last lumbar? I dont fully understand what happened, but I've been blamed for not being, Idk, totally cognitively with it.…..again, fracture and meds….im being tossed out because i am not perfect enough? Okay. At the same time I'm reconnecting with someone I know who has been an absolute love helping me out and being a friend. “…Just watching the wheels go round and round.” J Lennon
