On the Cusp of Another Game Changer

Mars and Uranus Having Their Say

On Monday, July 15th at 9:05 am Central Time, Mars and Uranus will conjunct one another in the sign of Taurus at 26 degrees.

A conjunction is when two planets come together in the same degree of the same sign and light each other up, empowering the other with its properties. Mars the planet of action, fire, and initiation, and Uranus the planet of revolution, sudden change, and inspiration are already moving closer and closer to one another, each magnifying the properties of the other with their own.

You see where I am going with this, yes?

It’s potentially an “Ah-Ha!” or even a “Holy Shit!” moment for each of us individually and the collective at large.

No matter where you look, inward or outward, we’ve reached a tipping point. Change is inevitable, it always is, and yet how we navigate the energy of change is up to each one of us.

There are those acting as agents of change for the betterment of humanity and our world at large and then there are those acting as chaos demons and it’s wise to know the difference. There are those supporting the health of the collective and then there are those taking advantage of this moment looking to make bank and grab as much power as they can and again it is wise to know the difference.

Mars conjunct Uranus may be a revelatory moment for you, suddenly illuminating that which has been eluding your sight. Taurus, the earthiest sign of them all with Venus as its ruler, Goddess of love, beauty, money, family, and home is the watery yin to the fiery yang of Mars/Uranus encouraging a slow and steady approach to change even as Mars and Uranus want to act without thinking.

Being balanced, grounded, centered, and heart-spaced will be key as we move through the space ahead. If you make a mess, which you certainly may, remember the power in the spell of making amends. It is one of our most effective and underutilized healing tools.

Whatever it is that comes up for you (and it certainly could be wonderful) has most likely been germinating for a while. While sudden changes and disruptions can often be out of our hands, our power lies in how we choose to respond to that which is beyond our conscious control. Even happy surprises can catch us off guard. If something wonderful unexpectedly comes your way, take a breath before your knee-jerk response to it kicks in which could cause you to dismiss it, and welcome it in with open arms and gratitude instead.

I’ll be getting outside during the time leading up to and through the transit on Monday along with the days that follow as much as I can enjoying the beauty of nature, putting my feet on the Earth, and connecting with this world that we currently call home along with the beings inhabiting it.

We can either hold our center as change flows through or contribute to the chaos at hand.

One need only look at US politics right now to see this all in action.
