Venus Cazimi Coming In Hot and a Big Light Show This Weekend

During the June Solstice event, The Pleiadians said that we’d be hearing a lot about Venus this summer. I remember thinking at the time, “Huh, I wonder what they are talking about,” as I am not a formal astrologer and tend to just pick up on astrological aspects that feel important to me while missing some others.

Well, we’ve got a Venus biggie right around the corner.

On Sunday, (this Sunday, as in 2 days from now), Venus while retrograde in Leo will conjunct the Sun also in Leo. A conjunction is when any two planets meet up in the same sign. A cazimi is a conjunction between any planet and the Sun when they happen within 1 degree of one another.

The Venus Sun Cazimi event will occur during the very early morning hours in Pacific Time on August 13th

This cazimi begins a new 584-day cycle for Venus as the planet of all that we love will appear to disappear into the Sun, leaving our night sky, and will reappear as our morning star later on this month. The light and power of the Sun and all that it gives us will be magnifying the energy of Venus, the planet of all that we hold dear, all that we love, and the beauty and prosperity of our material existence.

This feels like an excellent day to do some simple magic and spellwork.

The image I have is of Venus setting and then seeming to leave us for a time, allowing us to release what we’ve been holding onto from the past, our hurts and disappointments and regrets to free us up to bring in what we truly love as we finish this Venus retrograde cycle on September 3rd. The cazimi marks the midpoint in the retrograde cycle which began on July 22nd.

Simple release spell using unconditional love - Take an inhalation of golden light/love into your body and as you exhale send that unconditional love to all versions of you in any moment of time and space holding onto anything for any reason other than joyful ones. Allow any emotions to come up to be felt and processed as you continue to do this breathing spell. Repeat until you feel complete in the moment with the knowledge that you can come back to this spell at any time.

Simple intention spell - Once you’ve done the above, inhale to sync up with the magnificence of the cazimi energy (the beauty of Venus magnified by the light of the Sun) into your body to amplify your joy. As your joy grows from within, observe what begins to play out in your heart/mind showing you where to direct this energy in your life helping you bring about more of what you love, helping you bring more to who you love, helping you to open up and receive this love in kind.

Choose a small item as a representation of all that you love, all that you wish to grow in your life. Hold it in the palm of your hand and imbue it, using your breath, with the cazimi energy. Place it where you’ll notice it regularly. Every time your eyes fall upon this item, feel the magic and power of the cazimi. If you feel disconnected or discouraged, pick it up, hold it in the palm of your hand, and allow it to connect you right back to the moment of the cazimi, Venus magnified by the light of the Sun empowering you with love.

As Venus begins to appear in the morning sky, this will feel like a sign to begin to take action toward all that we have uncovered for ourselves during this particular retrograde cycle.

There’s another truly special event happening this weekend. The annual Perseid Meteor shower is peaking today through Sunday night. The best viewing time will be after midnight. Get yourself away from any ambient lights (ie: turn off all of your lights in your house), get comfortable, let your eyes adjust to the dark, and watch the magic unfold in the skies above.

So let yourselves really celebrate the magic of the light show and feel it in your bodies.

P.S. About the yellow signs, it was all about the Lion’s Gate Portal which I had sort of figured out by the end of my last piece and became certain of once I had finished our event on Tuesday. Solar plexus upgrades are underway.
