I am glad you got away and had some quiet and that your furry babies were okay. I was pretty steamed this weekend and last weekend. It has been awful. It has never been so bad here. I am in Illinois but they just drive to Wisconsin and buy them. I feel so bad for the wildlife and animals. I also had a bad migraine on the 4th and the noise just made it so much worse. It definitely has been rough. Last night I was practicing some channeling with a mutual friend and a huge loud boom made me jump out of it and my cat on my lap was scared to death and jumped away clawing the crap out of me in the process. Even Gus heard it and he can't hear. And there were several of those with continuous smaller noises. I was beyond upset at that point. And where I live it will go on for weeks. I feel so bad for the animals outside. I had a dog that was deathly afraid of storms and fireworks and now I am fearful of both, strange how that happens. Plus with the increased noise sensitivity I now have with my new migraine things both make it worse. So it has definitely been rough here. I will try that with the sound spell around our home and area for the rest of the summer. I guess I am venting so thanks for this space to do that.

I have Saturn in Gemini in the 6th house so I will look and see what that means. Thanks for the info.

Love to you and Jon and the furbabies.

Nora!!! Ahhhh so wonderful to read this and I love your quiet spell. The collective noise is overwhelming for so many right now. The Sirius portal has just opened for its annual entry and im doing my best to stay grounded. Working on my full moon article and currently in Brussels with some heavy decisions to take about my future ahead.

Thank YOU for the mention in this article. SO 11TH HOUSE OF YOU!! LOL. This Uranus energy is a stronghold impacting the world collectively. I am happy to see so many newbies flock to astro to help make sense of the madness. For me, my astro journey began in summer of 2018, which is when I started to awaken to the goodness I've found in recent years despite of the chaos.

Sending you love in light 🌟

Good morning! Happy 7/7 🌟 my sun, Mars and Jupiter is in Gemini so I think I may be seeing some big changes. Also my 10th house. Trying to hold space for all of it. Also grabbing the popcorn 🍿

"Around midnight, I cast a quieting spell, which included me going outside and yelling at the top of my lungs, “Enough already! Knock it the fuck off.”

😂 I love this spell. Also, I also have a nearby Arlington Heights neighborhood! 💕

Hi Nora and everyone, Just like you, we experienced way fewer firework shenanigans, noise, and party energy in the neighborhood. I attributed it to living in a very liberal city—and indeed, this July 4th didn’t feel like a celebration of independence, but more like a gut punch to everything that values equality, democracy, and freedom from authoritarian rule. I’ve never enjoyed Fourth of July celebrations or fireworks, so, the quiet was a relief—though the reason behind it was sobering. I'm glad you and the gang had a suffering-free night.

I looked at my chart and—is it possible?—I have zero Gemini in it? Honestly, I have no idea what that even means. I don’t have so much as a big toe in astrology, but I’m often listening to audio talks, YouTube videos, and your transmissions that speak to it. Maybe, eventually, it’ll all sink in by osmosis. Thank you for this space and for your love. Love to you.

Interesting that your neighborhood was quieter. Chicago's got big liberal energy as well, so I do think this was a factor, along with fears about ICE and the costs. Interesting that you have nothing in Gemini. Astrology has become more and more interesting to me over the past five years or so. I've taken it in piece by piece and let it just organically build without overwhelming myself with all of the details.

Yes, that's how I figure I will get the hang of Astrology. I mean, I now know a little more than nothing! I had my chart done 45 years ago and I still have the handwritten binder with all the symbols and graphs, but that's what they are, a bunch of symbols and graphs that are in a foreign language!

I've never had my chart done or read by anyone else. I am all "self-taught" and too controlling to hand off my data. lol

Yeah, the symbols, I still have to look up some of them. For some reason, my solid memory just rejects capturing them.

Hi Nora. I loved your quieting spell! It was more quiet here on the 4th than in past years. I could hear distant, probably "official" displays but neighborhood noise was at a minimum. I thought Republicans would be celebrating like crazy, but it seems not. I have Jupiter in Gemini in my 6th house (I counted the houses so I think that is right.) I had fun with that link you gave us. Pluto is the dominant planet in my chart by a mile, followed by Jupiter and Venus. I have always felt connected to Pluto, not knowing why. I continue to feel "low" ( a good paraphrase from one if my sisters). It is more than just the news but I don't know what to do about it. Yet. Thanks for a great story of modern day survival. Love to you and Jon and the pups. Love to everyone here. And, so true, Nora; you are just getting started! 💖

That low you're talking about, I feel it too. Just doing as much self-care as I can.

I am listening to the wind moving over the land on my farm setting off my assorted wind chimes . Recently dug out a wildlife pond and it's beginning to fill with water.

Already the kangaroos are coming closer on my farm perhaps in anticipation.

I saw a large fox today and it reminded me of oneness with all things .

I'm doing sun light meditation ATM to raise my vibration. It feels good .

Also focusing on more protection visualisation.

We sit and watch news out of the USA and it's just awful to see the undoing of so much that is was good in your country by the Trump regime .

I think my government is finally acknowledging there's a serious issue with aukus and our alliance as nations going forward , I just think we don't quite know what to do about it yet .

Warm flowing Ki to you all your not alone I stand with you in love and solidarity

I hate fireworks. Our dog Draf was the same when he was alive. Shaking and scared. And all the other beings too, animals. Here they are on August 1st. Still, today I was to scream to anyone firing them.

Well done, protecting the dogs ❤️❤️❤️

Was this the last July 4th celebration?

Your story telling is so inviting. I appreciate reading about your journey! I relate as I am a Leo rising so Gemini in my 11th. Wow you have surely been in the thick of transformation with all the other aspects in Taurus! Can’t wait to see what is next for you.

I took care of my granddogs this year for the 4th and they are terrified of the fireworks. I decided to take them to my daughter’s house full of my human grandkids and busy activity and they were fine. They had so much love and care and didn’t hear the loud bangs as much as if they were just with me! 😊🐶

Happy that you found solutions for the fireworks weekend! I looked up where Gemini is in my chart - no planets, but 8th house. Idk . . . i feel like I'm being overly influenced by Cancer at the moment. Sun, Mercury and Mars in Cancer and . . . from your link, just learned that Vertex (??) is also in Cancer. I am feeling sad and lacking in connection. So - I'm going to go attempt to connect. Thanks & Love!
