This was a much needed message to hear. Knowing that all the magic is still happening alongside whatever this feeling is. Very important to keep in mind. Thanks for the reminder. I also loved the Buckingham Palace reference as my tall mini poodle Toby does exactly the same thing. Best of luck to you in your new space.

Thank you so much!

I love that your Toby does "Buckingham Palace" as well.

Sometimes I say to Teddy, "Do Buckingham Palace" and he goes into it and then starts laughing.

Thanks for reminding me that the magic is still happening!

It’s a mixed bag for me since a few days. At times I am getting a lot of things done continually or doing nothing at all and feeling very low and ill the other times.

Really love the update Nora. I’m glad to hear you’re riding the full experience with all the highs and lows and giving yourself lots of grace and spaciousness without trying to push the river (as much as the mind wants to). I’ve been in some similar waters of late, moving very slowly, resting a lot, feeling very quiet and doing my best to trust it without reacting to the mind’s fear that it will be this way forever or that I’m missing out on something, doing something wrong, etc. I’m so grateful for the full permission I always receive from your shares. Sending you a big, restful, melty hug 🫠

Hooray for magic and sleep.

On a practical note- check out Habitat for Humanity’s Restore on Pulaski and Peterson. They always have loads of office furniture, plus lots of other cool things.

I’m so glad you’re loving being back in Chicago.

So interesting Nora, I was wondering how you were feeling being back in Chicago. I’m curious how I feel in Ojai. I notice a huge lift in my mood when I’m in Topanga or Santa Monica. I feel restless often in Ojai and wonder what energies I’m picking up on.

When we were doing Airbnb in Hawaii the nicest easiest happiest guests came from Chicago or Texas. Was an interesting observation of folks from all over the country.

Anyway 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

I’ve been wondering about the energetic difference from Ojai to Chicago. It’s financially tight here for a lot of people and a dissatisfaction for many with the newer waves of gentrification. It has made me wonder what the towns vibes are and how much they affect me. I certainly don’t feel connected to Ojai these days other than the land itself. Happy to hear about how you all are landing. Including the dogs. And yes exhaustion, rest and integration. Makes sense!

Also I felt incredibly tired all week. I think we are all integrating those huge solar flares from the weeks prior. So there’s that on top of everything!

Oh yes, those solar flares. We were arriving here right as they were happening. I barely noticed lol.

The money thing is hard all over and yet it is exaggerated in Ojai, yes.

I find I am just spending money here when I need to or want to without thinking about it as much as I did there.

Like, this is just life and money is a part of it.

The pieces of my move continue to drop from the vortex. Just in weird order. I may have found a great moving company before anything is packed and before we have found a place to move into! AC’s landlord will let them break the lease, but wants them out at the end of June if possible. We’re looking for places, but until I get a job, we can’t apply. Lol I have a job interview for next Thursday (yay!!) at 5:30 am my time - on my birthday! Here’s hoping the puzzle pieces keep dropping into place. While I am happy it is all coming together, I am also pretty exhausted by the situation. And my kid is eeyoring a bit on me. And I am thinking “I am manifesting as fast as I can, don’t harsh my roll.” Haha

Sending you love and support.

Are you familiar with the website movingscam.com?

It's a good place to vet a potential mover (and it may be a bit out of date at the moment).

Have you done a cross country move and do you know about the scam that moving brokers run?

I managed to schedule our internet hookup for next week and I got a great lead on where to get some thrifted furniture thanks to Lee-Ann Meredith. I am also super close to getting the Cuisinart electric kettle I have always wanted for $20
