Thank you Nora! I am better for having read your post and for the reminders to stay strong and true. Like Matt Kahn wrote “whatever arises love that” 🙃💙🦋🐬😽
I actually have gorgeous late spring flowers that just bloomed today. They’re 2 different kids of irises - one large & peach and the other small and a royal purple color. Thanks for drawing my attention to them & sharing your late spring experiences!
I also just planted a bunch of veggies now that it’s June. We’ll see if any get to our kitchen table this year as last year’s harvest went to the wildlife in my yard - chipmunks 🐿️, squirrels 🐿️, groundhogs, and deer 🦌. I do like digging in the dirt though.
Wow, these seem like extra times! Thanks for sharing the ride.
Hi Nora, May your leg release the pain quickly and with ease. Thank you for sharing such timely wisdom, about timing. I am feeling the subtle shifts here. I am also finding a lot of remembering of all the work I have done and difficult choices that are now sowing rewards. Holding true to the intelligence of Love and Kindness is showing me the way forward.
Just letting you know that the Chinese government and social media sites are becoming extremely anti LGBTIA and encouraging extreme acts of violence against LGBTQ+ community in China , some people may have lost their lives because the incitement to hate in these online forums is very malicious.
Not a time for travel to China with any Rainbow flags showing .
The government is ignoring crimes against the community and that's inciting more violence against LGBTQ people .
A good time to send love and protection to the gay community there .
It’s good to celebrate the positives and Pride locally whilst staying aware that other countries are doing things that impact people’s lives and that there’s places that need more light and protection and upliftment.
All Out organisation is a very good resource for information on global perspectives and activism Nora .
They with their work save lives and it’s a good feeling knowing anything advocacy or financial support for All Out actually saves people in life threatening situations in hostile countries around the globe .
I’m a financial supporter ( monthly ) and I sign petitions on the website as a member .
It’s good to support organisations like this that work with grass roots LGBTQ communities worldwide to provide safety and shelter and assistance when life’s hard and cruel , All Out is there lending a hand with funding , resources and training to these communities.
They are the ones who sent me the info about what’s happening in China atm , it’s on their website . AllOut.org
Thanks for your article Nora. Happy Pride! 🌈 I don’t have the patience I need right now either. 😁 I am so bad at it. My back went out Monday and it has to be my body saying slow it down! But I must have gotten the message because it’s feeling better more quickly than it normally does. Which is good for me because my old dog Gus is not moving so well and I’m having to do a lot of lifting him and definitely need to be able to move well.
I am enjoying stepping out on my back deck and getting my kale and chard for my morning smoothies out of my raised beds I have there. It makes me so happy. I don’t have much in the way of flowers yet but plan to get some for my pots so I have a lot of color out there soon.
I’m planning on going to the Lake County Pride event and the Kenosha Pride event so I am looking forward to all the fun and happiness those entail.

Extra, extra times. Thank you!
I have found that “patience” can certainly try one’s patience😵💫. At 73, I’m still working on that one from time to time😅😂🤣‼️
BTW: May your leg be healed soon❣️
Ugh, right? Patience, blech.
Thank you :)
Happy pride 🌈 and wishing you a pain-free leg asap! 💕
Thank you!
